A few more lights and gutters and the outside will be done until next year for side walks. Inside they laid the vinyl flooring yesterday in the bath rooms and the utility rooms. Painting is 99% done. Kitchen Cabinets and tong and grove ceiling in the dinning room and kitchen next. Lights and receptacles about 80% done. Maybe fire up the heating and air-condition next week. Timber Frame Construction • Ground Broken November 2008 with projected completion August 2009. Follow the In February 2006 approximately 50 ash trees were cut from Jerry’s, Jack’s, and Dad’s woods. In the spring, paths were cleared and logs were hauled.
- Spring 2007, logs were taken to Tervol’s Wood products.
- Spring 2008, logs were cut into timber and 1″ boards cut and kiln dried
- Timbers were hauled to Cruse Hardwood to be planed
- Boards hauled to Saunders Lumber Company to be made into trim, tongue & groove boards
- Early summer 2008, timbers hauled to Heartwood Craft to have timber frame layed out, mortise & tenon cut
- Mid November 2008, ground broken for basement by Miller Construction
- Followed by Superior Wall Company
- In floor radiant heat tubing laid in by Hammontree (Ohio Radiant Floor)
- Insulation. wire mesh, and tubing tied by Jerry, Diana, and Dad
- Miller construction poured basement floor in December 2008
Holgate Lumber/Waisner Construction install I joist and subfloor on top of basement walls, raised timbers.
- Tongue and groove boards sanded by Jery, Diana, & Dad (with minor to little blood loss)
